Tin litho Army train. Made from 1938 until 1942 in five different versions as follows:

1) Black with white trim side boards with an 0-4-0 formation from 1938 to 1942

2) Black with gold trim side boards with an 0-4-0 formation in 1941

3) Lime green, black and white trim side boards in 1942 with an 0-4-0 formation

4) Black and white trim side boards with a 2 -4-2 wheel formation in 1939

5) As #4 but with a red fire box in 1938 The Marx 500 has become hard to find and it is rare to find one that is immaculate! This example comes with the tender and is Version 1.
